Marlis Sawicki, CFP®

Certified Financial Planner® professional

Marlis is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, accredited by the Financial Planning Standards Council (FPSC). She was raised in Nanaimo, and attended the Richard Ivy School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, where she graduated as a top finance student. She earned her Certified Financial Planner designation in 2004, honed her financial planning skills at Investors Group, and recently worked for Coastal Community Credit Union and served the communities of Qualicum Beach, Parksville, and Nanoose as an Investment Advisor with Credential Securities. Marlis is skilled in retirement, estate, and investment planning.

In 2017, Marlis established Island Wealth Management. Providing independent advice under the secure and established Investia umbrella gives Marlis access to a wide range of investment alternatives, and allows her the freedom to spend time getting to know the needs of her clients, and to carefully tailor planning and investment strategies that are optimal for each person. She follows a comprehensive process, and has a knack for simplifying what is complex, so clients can make great, informed financial decisions.
